HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL U FOLK!!! hope u all get many many ang-pows and treats.haha.
This year's chinese new year wasnt much fun, considering the fact that everybody was in their own world...went to grandma's house on thurs and it sucked... BIG TYM!!! hu in the world thinks dat giving angpows is too much of a hassle?? though it takes quite a while to put the money in...everybody was siting in their own corners either stoning or watching tv or talking to someone..no cards or anything and i saw that my father wasnt really enjoying himself..
On fridae, went to my Uncle's house...i think it was much more meaningful there since everyone did everything together...lyk playing cards.i think another factor that made the gathering so much more meaningful was the presence of babies...i think they made a significant impact as they can be a source of entertainment, =p, and Joy...so overall, new year at my relative's was quite ok...not as good as b4, stiill the same, watching movie b4 going to my uncle's house... =)
On sat...Jam was having cell visitation. Jem called me the dae b4 and asked if we wanted to meet and go tgt. i said ok and we met at 10.15 at his mrt..on the way there, he told me we were going to be super early and gonna be waiting lyk tuts...haha.i said it wasnt true but it was.haha.we ended up there at 10.45.HAHA!!! so funny la. then i made a suggestion to go and haf breakfast first b4 going to meet them again and guess wat? we ate at BURGER KING! haha. jem was lyk " are u sure u wanna eat not? later going tong's house we got lunch leh".haha. i said confirm can wan la.
then when we reached tong's house, her house was lyk a extreme big la...its ernormous...2 flats combines into one! its wonderful!!! i've never been to such a big house b4 and its lyk no other...her father cooked for us if i was not wrong and the food was heavenly....it was nice.there was beef noodles, ha chiong kai(think its spelled that way) and i cant remember the rest.heh. =P. then we went to daryl woo's house and played cards...haha.Uncle Sunny was very hospitable and prepared many things.then we went to joyjoy's house for a little while and then went to Jenisse's house for dinner.
Dinner at Jenisse's was divine....it was freaking nice! ate so much la...lyk some big eater...PIG!!! haha.there was umm, i dunoe if it was chicken, pork or beef..haha.there was fish also.very nice.i couldn eat anymore after finishing the 2nd round...
haha...i think Sat was the best dae in cny that i ever had...haha. some photos from my relative's are supposed to be uploaded but i coulnt find them so too bad...haha..
